My vision with Spread Records is to support burgeoning local artists and the smaller live music venues that give them the opportunity to hone their craft and become the beloved musicians of the future.

Anyone who has ever been in an original band understands the challenge of getting decent paying gigs, much less truly fair pay that honors the many hundreds of hours of blood sweat and tears that musicians put into their work. Spending years playing small local gigs for little to no money.

The reality is it doesn’t have to be like that. Musicians should be able to earn a living wage with their original music, and our mission is just that.
